Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka shankar is an British and American sitar player. She also performs music. She was also the first and youngest woman to receive the British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Shakar, a young emerging star on the Indian Sitar, is Anoushka. She is a student as well as child of Ravi Shankar. Born in London She spent her early years of her life bouncing between London as well as New Delhi. Her debut concert was in New Delhi at the tender age of thirteen. After that, she relocated to Encinitas CA, where she obtained her High School diploma with honors in 1999. While she's still young, Anouskha has an impressive performing and recording career. She regularly performs alongside her father and has done so for a long time years. She made Anourag her debut album on her own in 1998. The Grammy-nominated Live at Carnegie Hall album was released in 2002. Since she's performed at all the major stages in all over the globe, her career on stage is extensive.
