Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best known for playing Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 to the present. The actress gained recognition for her role on Towelhead as Jasira Marroun who is an American Lebanese girl of 13 who is thrown into turmoil by the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq. In the following year, she was named one of the Ten actors in Variety's list of to Watch. The actress also had a dramatic character in 2009's crime thriller Crossing Over. For this actress, she won a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award under the category of Best Female Leading. The other roles in her film include Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake, as well as several guest TV appearances.
